Based on the novel " LORNA DOONE" by R.D.Blackmore ( 1869 ). This is a tender but dramatic love story of two young people from totally different backgrounds  -  Lorna Doone, a member of a family of aristocratic outlaws terrorising Exmoor, Devon, England, and John Ridd, a simple farmer. It is a love affair which is surrounded by fear in the turbulent times of Charles II ( 1660 -1685 ).
